My name is Alicia Searcy and I was born with Cerebral Palsy. I became a digital artist about ten years ago, starting with pixel drawings in Windows Paint and Paint Shop Pro. Over the years I have migrated to Smith Micro’s Poser Pro 2012 and Adobe PhotoShop CS5 as my primary mediums of expression. My work is heavily influenced by Art Nouveau pioneer Alphonse Mucha and pinup artist Alberto Vargas but my style is very much my own. My work is meant to a realistic celebration of male and female beauty and emotion.
In addition to Gallery Celesta I also write the Spashionista Report, a blog about fashion geared towards people with Cerebral Palsy.
